  St. John's Presbyterian church has a wonderful community. They encourage people to join lifegroups, which are groups of people who meet together, typically once a week, to discuss the bible and pray for each other. After getting divorced I found myself to be very isolated. St. John's is a place where I have been able to build community. If I have a problem, there are so many that would swoop in to help. I also love the diversity of the congregation.
  
  Pastor Steve is a wonderful pastor. His sermons are very inspiring and informative, and he truly cares. He is not only a biblical scholar of the highest rank, he is also a kind and encouraging person.

  As the pastor of St. John's Presbyterian Church, I'm very concerned and saddened to hear that anyone may have experienced racism on our church grounds as was mentioned by the March 23 comment. It is, in fact, our desire to be a multi-national and multi-generational congregation and Nursery School whose diversity is bound together in the love of Christ. We apologize if we failed to convey his gracious Spirit to anyone who visited our campus.
