  Everyone I've introduced and brought to this Cathedral have been overwhelmed with not just the beauty, but the overall experience. The choir and priest chant the Divine Liturgy in such a way, that you feel like you're in Heaven. Be prepared to feel like this is your second home. Not only are the members of this church welcoming, but they also go out of their way to help anyone who truly believes. Disregard any negative reviews read. I have reasons believing they are TROLLS (spammers), trying to get attention.

  I would love to say I loved this place, but the "docents du jour" incessant negative gossip IN THE CHURCH WHILE PEOPLE WERE TRYING TO PRAY disgusted me... Is there any decent place to communicate with God in LA?

  Christian Orthodox Architecture Opulence at it's grandest. This church is worth carrying the same name as Constantinople's original Hagia Sophia. Very impressive.

  Saint Sophia Cathedral and its priests create a truly blessed and spiritual environment for those who want a true heart connection to God. And God is present in this place. Those who don't understand write assessments of ignorance . They truly are not connected with God. I have been grateful my whole life for this church, as have my parents and family who helped build it. To know the people of the congregation, and the loving community it supports , is what true faith is about. The priests of the Greek Orthodox Church are a rare and loving breed. They have helped so many. I am forever grateful.
