Bunch of Freemasons that call themselves CHRISTIANS, drive here from Bel Aire, to judge people who have nothing !!

The program is great with strict biblical principles and quality preachers and teachers instructing on a daily basis, so the Word of God is stressfully emphasized. You can learn from staff, who have experience and wisdom.

On the down side, it can get overwhelming with most people putting on "a show" just to impress the directors, plus there is are "too many chiefs and not enough Indians", in which they want to play the role of teacher or boss. Cliques are formed to the point where there's the unfortunate mistrust between program men and staff. The atmosphere can be both positive and negative, but that's for most places.

  • The Lord uses this shelter to raise up Christians who'll not be ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ; who'll take light into this fool-hearty world. It's a temporary home - a place to learn the power of prayer, as well as receive the assurance of God's amazing grace, not only for self but for others, and with others. Peace resides there.

They open the doors at 8:30 am then at 9:30 am after attending a mandatory service they serve breakfast. NO LUNCH. Dinner is after a 7:45 pm service at 8:30 pm. That's when they commence the ritualistic feeding of the sheep. (clothing EXCHANGE [not giveaway], is done on MONDAY & THURSDAY at 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm.) GREAT PEOPLE DOING GODS WORK!! GREAT PLACE TO WORSHIP!! I go even though I'm a Deist not a Theist Emmanuel B. Is a drama show and I enjoy the fellowship. (Be careful where you set your stuff though, they'll put their stuff down next to your stuff so it's easier for them to go through and/or steal your stuff). Many of them think it's funny that they have no manners and 8 out of 10 of them are thieves or worse. They'll cut in line too. Disrespectful, loud mouthed, ghetto trash. GOOD DAY!!

  • Emmanuel Baptist Rescue Mission is serving the Lord in a very difficult area of the city. They are doing an excellent job of showing each guest the love of Christ and lending a helping hand.
